Starting point is south of Greenock. A linear route from Drumfrochar train station in Greenock to Wemyss Bay train station along the Greenock and Kelly Cut. 15.5km

Baidlandhill
Starting point is a 30min drive from Paisley. This walk is a 12km circular walk giving panoramic views of the Garnock valley and the coastal towns of Irvine and Troon.

Corlick Hill
Starting point is 1km north of Whinhill golf course. Enjoy this looped walk over Corlic Hill and around the Gryffe reservoir, looking out for historical remains such as round houses and abandoned farmsteads. 10km

Hill of Stake & Misty Law
Starting point is a 30min drive from Paisley. Take a walk over Renfrewshire’s highest hill and enjoy the rough heather moorland on this circular walk. 10km

Irish Law & Knockside Hill
Starting point is a 10min drive from Largs. Experience the open moorland landscape on these hilltops and find the airplane wreckage that still remains on Irish Law. 6.5km

Kaim Hill
Starting point is a 20min drive from Largs. Look out for the old cup and ring markings and old millstone quarry on the slopes above Fairlie. 5km

Shielhill Glen Nature Trail
Starting point is 2.5 miles south of Inverclyde. From the Greenock Cut Visitor Centre, combine a little bit of the Greenock and Kelly Cuts, woodland glen and board walk with fine views of the Cowal peninsula and the Firth of Clyde. 2.5km

Dunrod Hill
Starting point is 2.5 miles south of Inverclyde. A short steep grassy climb from the Greenock Cut Visitor Centre for hilltop vistas over the Firth of Clyde. 5km

The Greenock Cut
Starting Point is Greenock Cut Visitor Centre, Loch Thom, Inverclyde. Voted as one of Scotland’s top 50 historic walks, this route can offer panoramic views over the Firth of Clyde to Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park as well as Arran and Ailsa Craig. 12km.

Windy Hill & Muirshiel Country Trail
Starting point is a 30 minute drive from Paisley. Climb the aptly named Windy Hill and then stroll through the Country Park trails. A small but rewarding climb and hike for the whole family.

Loch Thom
Starting Point is 2.5 miles south of Inverclyde. From Greenock Cut Visitor Centre this route allows you to circumnavigate Loch Thom. Surfaced road & tracks covering 8.7km.

Kenmure Hill
Starting point is a 20 min drive from Paisley. From Castle Semple Visitor Centre walk along to the iconic temple just outside Howwood and visible from the A737. 8.9km.
