A great afternoon out for the Ranger Service

The Clyde Muirshiel Rangers were recently called upon by St Anthony’s Primary in Saltcoats to help in repairing their willow structure. Rangers Pat and Claire spent an enjoyable afternoon, trimming and weaving the structure so the unruly lengths were woven back in and no longer a danger to the children or the sky!

See below for during (well after the first half hour of work perhaps as we forgot to take a before photo!) and after images.

If you know a willow structure at a school or an eco garden that could benefit from a little time get in touch with the Ranger Service. For Castle Semple and Muirshiel Centres contact or for Greenock Cut or Lunderston Bay Rangers contact
