COVID-19 restrictions make guided walks a challenge so the suggestion was made to film the walks and make them and the walk leader’s information available to watch online. Although this removes the social interaction during a walk, it also means that anyone can access the walk and join in!
Two walks are planned for Lochwinnoch village, two walks for Castle Semple Country Park and one walk from Muirshiel visitor centre to the barytes mine. All the background information and route maps will be available on the Clyde Muirshiel website via the downloads page and the walks will be viewable on the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park YouTube page.
We hope to have one or two walks where 5 or 6 people could attend, depending on government guidelines.
In the meantime, enjoy this short clip with Iain Harris.
