Lesser Celandine (Ranunculus Ficaria).

Lesser Celandine is one of the first flowering plants to appear after winter. The flowers are open only for a short period of time during day, especially in cold weather, therefore is rarely available as an early source of nectar for various insects. This plant is poisonous as any member of the buttercup family, and it is often mistaken for Greater celandine which belongs to poppy family.
