The historical aqueduct helped fuel industry in Greenock, it’s now a fantastic circular walk with views down the Clyde and plenty of historical features. This is your chance to walk it with the Ranger Service and find out more about Robert Thom’s invention.

The walk will start and finish at Greenock Cut Visitor Centre and will take approximately 2.5/3 hours. Bring a packed lunch or snack if you’d like a short break halfway round.

This walk is 12km and although the majority is flat there is a little climbing over uneven ground to begin with. Please wear suitable footwear with ankle support.
