Doors Open Day @ Castle Semple

Open Doors Day at Castle Semple
Join us on 5th and 6th September for a special opportunity to climb the historic tower at Castle Semple and enjoy stunning views across the loch. From this unique viewpoint, you’ll be able to spot landmarks such as Peel Tower, Kenmure Temple, and Aird Meadow.
Along the way, discover the fascinating history of Castle Semple Loch and hear how it has evolved over the years into the landscape we know and love today.
Please note that access to the tower is via a steep spiral staircase and, unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access.
Guided tours will run every 30 minutes between 10:00am and 12:00pm, and 1:00pm and 3:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
No booking is required. Tours operate on a first come, first served basis, with a maximum of 8 people per tour.
