The Bog Stomp is a 10k off road hill run across the bonnie inclines of upper Inverclyde! First held in 2016, the event attracted over 70 runners who left Clyde Muirshiel’s Greenock Cut Visitor Centre and enjoyed some challenging terrain and the fabulous backdrop of views down the River Clyde.
If you would like to fundraise for Erskine, (minimum sponsorship of £50) entry is HALF PRICE – £10. First, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for your PROMO code and sponsorship/fundraising info and then enter online above using the code at checkout.
Included in the £20 entry fee is a £5 donation to Erskine plus event goodie bag with exclusively designed medal and tshirt.
Online entry is NOW OPEN although will close at 3pm on Friday 31st August. You can still enter on the day with £20 cash but please leave additional time when registering to complete an entry form, or print it off Bog Stomp non web Entry 2018 PDF and complete before you come along.
Entries after Monday 13th August are no longer guaranteed correct tshirt size but we will try our best.
Bog Stomp 2018 Safety Rules and BS18 Information to Participants 2018 were emailed to participants on Friday 24th August before the event. If you entered after this period we ask that you download and read them through before the day. There will be copies at Registration too.
The Start and Finish line is at Greenock Cut Visitor Centre, Loch Thom, Near Inverkip, Inverclyde PA16 9LX. The run will start at 10am with waves of runners, exact timing between waves tbc. We have asked your expected completion time to group runners of a similar ability.
The route starts with a steep climb up Dunrod Hill and then undulates over grassy moorland, trails/gravel tracks and returns via the service track alongside Scroggy Bank and Compensation Reservoir.

The Cafe will be open early doors to keep runners warm and to buy any last minute snacks or drinks. There is parking on site but it is limited so we recommend car sharing with other participants if possible.
