Visited one of our Barn Owl sites last week as the chicks will soon be out the box and hard to ring. All our other boxes bar one still had eggs in May but these guys hatched early on and were about 49 days old. They were incredibly fiesty and over the last few days have now been venturing to the entrance of the box. The homeowner, Miriam Downes, took some cracking photos which she has allowed us to share here.
