From wildfowl at the lochshore to tawny owls in Parkhill Woods, Castle Semple Country Park covers a diverse area.

Locherwood Wildlife Almanac
Locherwood Community Woodland is a young decidious woodland with conifer plantation to the rear. Jays, small pearl-bordered butterflies and deer are common.

Greenock Cut Wildlife Almanac
Greenock Cut’s aqueduct system is a haven for aquatic species such as dragonflies and amphibians, plus explore the natural regenerative woodland of the Shielhill Glen.

Muirshiel Wildlife Almanac
Muirshiel offers wonderful and easy access to woodland and moorland habitats, see ravens, diverse fungi, butterflies and, if you’re really lucky, rare birds of prey.
