Think Twice Before Releasing Balloons.

There has been an increase in the numbers of balloons found around the Regional Park

We know it’s fun to release balloons to celebrate an occasion but the reality is that the balloons will come back down to earth somewhere and there has been an increase in the numbers found on the moors of Clyde Muirshiel. There is also a danger with sky lanterns as they are often made of non-biodegradable plastics and wires. All these materials in any environment can have an impact on wildlife so please think twice before releasing them.

The Park would also like to thank walkers and anyone else out on the hill who picks up this litter or lets the Rangers know about it. It is much appreciated.
