The Tag-n-Track Project has recently received sponsorship support from some local businesses. Starling Learning, based in Lochwinnoch and Wild Surveys Ltd, based in Linwood, are both environmental consultancies who carry out survey work for many of our rare and protected species. The sponsorships will pay for the harnesses which hold the tags and are fitted to our lesser black-backed gulls.
Starling Learning said: ‘We have provided some sponsorship money for the Tag-n-Track project as we believe environmental education is vital. Plus any work that can be done to improve the image of gulls is very worthwhile.’
Wild Surveys Ltd said that they are ‘happy to support local conservation projects’.
If your business would like to get involved and sponsor one of the gulls then please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01505 614 791 and ask for the TnT Project Officer. We have various packages available no matter what your business delivers.
The Tag-n-Track Project is funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, Greater Renfrewshire and Inverclyde LEADER and Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park
