The Regional Park is managed by the Clyde Muirshiel Park Authority, this Joint Committee meets 4 times a year. The Committee is made up of eight elected members (Councillors) from Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and North Ayrshire Councils. Officers from the Councils support the committee members.
Renfrewshire Council, the Servicing Authority provides Officers to act as Treasurer and Clerk and gives technical, professional and administrative support to the Park Authority. Click here for the details of Committee Reports and Minutes of Meetings.
The Regional Park Manager reports to the Park Authority and is responsible for the day to day management of the Regional Park.
The Regional Park Senior Management Team includes the Development & Marketing Officer, Senior Rangers, Senior Instructors and Countryside Officer.
There are two teams of Countryside Rangers based at Castle Semple Centre, Lochwinnoch also looking after Muirshiel Country Park and at the Greenock Cut Centre and looking after Lunderston Bay.
In addition there are Visitor Centre Assistants, Outdoor Activity Instructors, Estate Team and Administration Staff.
