Duke of Edinburgh Award Residential

We have a number of residential package options available for groups aged 18 and over who are looking to fulfill the residential requirements of their DofE award. Our DofE staff can tailor make your residential week depending on your needs. Just some of the options we have available are outlined below. Conservation WeekCMRP_DofE_Volunteering_Conservation_Skills (1)

This is a week long programme of conservation tasks. Participants will work alongside our   Countryside Rangers and Outdoor Activities team. This programme is compatible with the requirements of the John Muir Award.

Multi-Activity Week

Our multi-activity residential package is designed to develop team work skills and includes sessions in:

  • ArcheryCMRP_Mountain biking skill development
  • Canoeing
  • Kayaking
  • Raft building
  • Mountain biking
  • Orienteering
  • Sailing

Sailing Skills Week

This five day residential packages involves an expedition on board a yacht learning all about sailing, navigation and living on board a boat. Sailing experience is desired but not essential.

Paddle Sports Coaching Skills Week

This 5 day package will equip you with the necessary skills to teach paddle sports within the remit of a UKCC level 1 coach.
