On Saturday Hayley managed to hand catch the final gull to be tagged this year. He was caught at Castle Semple Loch when he came running over to grab bread from the mallards. He felt a bit light but once bagged up and on the scales he proved to be big enough for the tag. He was soon harnessed up, ringed and released at the Loch where he flew back to Swan Bay and started to have a wash. To follow a familiar theme that has been running recently in terms of naming new things we have named him Gully MacGullface. Find out more about him and our other gulls on our newly completed Team Gull webpages. ‘Mon the Gulls!
