Ollie is our latest gull to be honoured with a name. Ollie was caught on Pladda, a little island off the south of Arran, at his nest site on the 7th of June. After being caught he headed to the mainland and was spending most of his time on the Ayrshire coast around Troon, Prestwick, Ayr and Maybole before heading off to Ireland on the start of his migration. He is currently in an area around Nivan, spending his time foraging in the surrounding fields. He can be recognised by his colour ring 0L1:C.
