The Tag-n-Track Team is based at Barnbrock Farm and has the following two team members.
My name’s Hayley Douglas and I’m really pleased to be running the Tag-n-Track Project (TnT). I’ve been in the Park since 2010 where I’ve worked as a Countryside Ranger and as the Project Officer for the popular Windows on Wildlife (WoW) Project. Tag-n-Track is going to build on what was achieved by WoW and really focus on public engagement. I have a passion for birds and mammals and being able to use the latest technology to follow our Lesser Black-backed Gulls is going to be exciting. I’m a licensed Bird Ringer with the Clyde Ringing Group and have worked on seabirds and gulls on Ailsa Craig with my trainer, Bernie Zonfrillo. I really enjoy teaching people about the wildlife that is all around us and am looking forward to the challenge of changing the public’s perception of gulls. When I’m not running the project I love to run in the mud, particularly obstacle course races which I’ve been doing since 2012. Look forward to seeing you at one of our events soon.
My name is Hannah Riley and I’m the TnT Ranger and will be working with the project three days a week. I studied Countryside Management at SRUC in Ayr graduating in 2016. I am originally from Lochgilphead and now live in Glasgow. Through the Tag-n-Track project I am most looking forward to improving my ID skills, doing practical survey work and working with the public. I enjoy going to traditional music festivals, camping and spending time with friends and family.
