On the 5th of July we put colour rings on Gary’s two chicks. These were 19R:C and 10S:C. Gary then went south two weeks after the chicks fledged and has remained in the Midlands since. As we can only fit the adult with satellite tags we rely on the chicks having their colour rings spotted and SUCCESS…19S:C was spotted at Cosa de Caparica Beach in Portugal, on the 15th of November by birder, Peter Rock. This is the same beach where Flyback was spotted in August and near to where Roger is currently hanging out. MON THE GULLS.
