Our fifth gull has started his migration. Clyde nested on the whisky bonds in Beith and was very site faithfully and never moved very far from his nesting area to forage. On Wednesday afternoon Clyde left Beith at 4pm and headed south. He arrived on the shores of Loch Ryan at 7 pm and left Scotland, flying over Sandhead at 8pm. He arrived at the northern tip of the Isle of Man at 5am on Thursday morning and was flying over Anglesey at 8am. He was last picked up over Carmarthen in South Wales at 530pm last night. He is pretty much following the same route as Flyback and it is hoped that our next download will show him in France.
