As a reliability ride it is not sign posted, the route will use normal traffic signage. The ride will be approximately 80km/50 miles, and not too dissimilar to the original PtP Night Rider back in March, just in reverse.
There will be a broom wagon support with first aid cover and some basic mechanical supplies.
You can find further information on the Information for Participants information sheet here: PtP nov 18 Night Rider Info Sheet. This will also be emailed to participants prior to the event with the route GPX file.
Entry is OPEN NOW through British Cycling, link here. Facebook event link here – join the event for updates. Price will be £5. This is a non competitive event and is not timed. Please bring usual supplies for a long ride, such as spare tubes, food for your back pocket and plenty water. Make sure you have GOOD LIGHTS, front and back for your bike, WITH ENOUGH BATTERY as well as good HIGH VIS clothing.
It would also be very considerate to have at least a rear full mudguard so you don’t get wet and dirty but also don’t spray other riders who will be around you.
We’ll see you at Castle Semple for an 8pm sharp departure. Register from 7.30pm inside the Centre.
