Sunday’s Duke of Edinburgh Youth volunteer group did a fantastic job clearing a section of the Orblis path at Muirshiel Country Park of brashings. There is still a lot of work to do to get this section of the Country Park open but it is now passable with care.
The hours the volunteers spend at the Park count towards the volunteering element of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. For bronze they need to complete 1 hour a week over a 3 month period.
If you’re interested in coming along the group is so popular that there’s now have a waiting list so contact the Ranger Service to join firstname.lastname@example.org
