The Royal Highland Education Trust came to the Castle Semple Centre on Monday to talk to all the pupils from Lochwinnoch Primary School. The school were able to learn about work on the farm, how to milk a cow and also have a go at milling grain to flour. One of our local farmers, Alan Steel, arranged the visit and was there to help out on the day. Alan said that the “education programme was great for the pupils and let them have hands on experience of the process of how food comes from the farm to the table”.
