On Saturday 28th April the most recent Beachwatch event took place with over 60 people volunteering. Litter is collected from Clyde Muirshiel’s only beach location Lunderston Bay, exactly what it is recorded and then passed on to the Marine Conservation Society. The information is used to help with national campaigns and will help us all turn the tide on marine litter.

The group collected 20 bags of rubbish weighing 35kg of mostly plastic items. The next Beachwatch event is on Saturday 14th July from 11am – 1pm. Join us!
